Messages and media
The composer
The composer is at the bottom of the conversation and brings together:
- Text with the channel's basic formatting;
- Emojis, GIFs, and stickers in the smiley-icon selector;
- Attachments — image, video, audio, document, and vCard;
- Voice recording — record and send straight from the browser;
- Quick replies — saved text shortcuts;
- Templates — approved messages to reopen the 24-hour window;
- Whisper — an internal message in the customer conversation: the team sees it, the customer never does. See Whisper mode and private mode.

Content types
- Text — simple, with links and lists.
- Media — image, video, audio, and document. Each channel has its own size limits and accepted formats; a type refused by the channel returns
unsupported_content_typein the API/MCP. - Location, contact (vCard), and payment link — when the channel supports it.
- Interactive messages — buttons and lists (when the provider and the template allow it).
The 24-hour window
Providers only allow freeform text while the customer has interacted in the last 24 hours. Outside this window:
- The composer blocks free sending and offers the channel's approved templates.
- After the customer replies, the window reopens and freeform text works again.
This behavior comes from the provider, not a choice by agents2.me — and it applies equally to the Inbox, the API, and MCP.
Template scheduling
The menu next to Transfer lets you schedule a WhatsApp template:
- the message shows a clock marker until it is sent;
- the minimum scheduling is 5 minutes ahead;
- scheduled templates cannot be internal notes;
- cancellation is done through the context menu of the message itself.
File preview
Documents and images have a preview in the chat — including PDF, with a local cache to open quickly next time.
