AI agents (MCP)

agents2.me speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol). This means AI assistants — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, n8n, and any compatible client — can operate the workspace in natural language, within the user's permissions.

It is not a parallel API: the MCP server calls the same routes the app uses, with the same rules of permission, validation, and audit.

What an assistant can do

  • Conversations — list, search, read the history, take, transfer, finish, reopen, mark as read, archive, pin, mute.
  • Messages — send text, template, media; react; edit; schedule and cancel scheduled templates.
  • Contacts — search, create, edit, import in bulk, transfer owner, link and unlink conversations.
  • CRM — accounts and opportunities (when enabled), with owners, stages, and cycles.
  • Campaigns — assemble, edit, dispatch, cancel, mark the A/B winner, and read the results dashboard.
  • Reports — create, configure, share, and run; list available types and fields.
  • Views — describe fields, create, run, and edit views.
  • Settings — users, roles, channels, custom fields, AI agents per channel, opportunity stages, and company features.

The complete and always current list is the one the server returns to the client (tools/list): each MCP client shows the tools available for its profile.

Who can use it

Any workspace user, from the app itself: Settings → Connected apps. The connection is per user, not per company — each person authorizes their own assistants and can revoke them whenever they want.

An assistant gains no power at all: it acts as the user who authorized it. If the role doesn't see opportunities, neither does the assistant.

Next steps

  1. Connect a client — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or another.
  2. OAuth and security — how access is granted, limited, and revoked.
  3. Tools — the catalog of tools by area.
The documentation is also MCP

This site exposes an MCP server at https://docs.agents2.me/mcp, without authentication, with only the public documentation. Point your assistant to it when the question is "how do I do X in agents2.me".
