Connect a channel
Channels enter agents2.me through the chatt2.me Hub, the official connection layer with the APIs of Meta and the other providers. You can use the Soublox hub or your own self-hosted hub.
Step by step
- Open Settings → Channels (or the chatt2.me Hub page).
- Click Connect channel and choose the provider.
- Authorize the account at the provider (Meta login, Telegram bot token, etc.).
- Set the channel name as it should appear in the Inbox — this is the name the agent sees in the conversation.
- Choose the default queue that receives the new conversations from this channel.
- Save. The channel card now shows the connection status.
What happens next
- The hub creates the necessary webhooks, and agents2.me starts receiving messages, delivery and read receipts, and reactions.
- New conversations enter Awaiting response in the channel's default queue.
- Each channel has its own templates (when the provider requires them), its own AI agent (if any), and its own message window rules.
Supported channels
| Channel | State | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Stable | Templates required outside the 24-hour window | |
| Stable | Direct and comment automations | |
| Messenger | Stable | Same Meta page as Instagram |
| Telegram | Stable | Connection by bot token |
| Website chat (web chat) | Stable | Widget embedded in the website |
| SMS | Stable | Sending and receiving through a provider |
| TikTok | Coming soon | No public API yet |
Requirements per channel
- WhatsApp and Instagram/Messenger require a Meta business account with messaging permission.
- For WhatsApp accounts in coexistence mode (the phone remains in use), the session can expire and the channel card shows the need to reconnect. See Troubleshooting.
- The connected number/user can only be active in one workspace at a time.
Diagnosis
The channel card displays the result of the last event received. If messages aren't arriving, compare that time with the moment of the test: this separates a connection problem from a queue problem.
